We’re celebrating Christmas the proper Zapped to the Past way… with noise! We want to hear your loudest, proudest, most gloriously clacky computer keyboards.

To enter, just send us:

  • A photo of your clacky keyboard
  • A short audio recording of it in full rattling glory

You can submit via email (zappedtothepast@gmail.com), on our social channels, or—if you’re a Patron—via our Discord. One lucky winner will be chosen at random and will receive a brand-new keyboard!

Zapped to the Past – Christmas “Clacker” Competition: Terms & Conditions

  1. Promoter
    This competition is run by the Zapped to the Past podcast (“we”, “us”, “our”).
  2. How to Enter
    To enter, simply send us:
    • A photo of your noisy / “clacky” computer keyboard, and
    • A short audio recording of the keyboard sound

Entries may be submitted via:
• Email: zappedtothepast@gmail.com
• Our official social media channels
• Patreon Discord (for Patrons)

By entering, you confirm the submission is your own original content and that you have permission to share it.

  1. Closing Date
    All entries must be received by 23:59 (UK time) on 18 January 2026.
    Entries received after this time will not be included.
  2. Who Can Enter
    The competition is open worldwide unless restricted by local laws.
    Entrants must be 18 or over, or have permission from a parent/guardian.
    No purchase or paid Patreon membership is required to enter.
  3. Prize
    One winner will receive:
    • A new computer keyboard (model to be confirmed)

No cash alternative is available and the prize is non-transferable.

  1. Winner Selection
    A winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries on 19 January 2026.
    The winner will be contacted via the platform they entered through (email or social media).
    If there is no reply within 14 days, we reserve the right to select another winner.
  2. Content Use
    By entering, you give us permission to mention your name/handle and to share your submitted image and audio on the podcast, website, and our social channels when discussing the competition.
    We will not sell your content or pass it to third parties.
  3. Privacy
    Personal details will only be used for administering the competition and contacting the winner.
    We will not share your personal data unless legally required.
  4. Fair Play
    We reserve the right to disqualify entries that are:
    • Offensive, abusive, or inappropriate
    • Clearly fraudulent or spam
    • Submitted in bulk or via automated means
  5. Liability
    We are not responsible for:
    • Lost, delayed, or undelivered entries
    • Technical issues beyond our control
    • Any costs incurred in entering or receiving the prize
  6. Changes & Cancellation
    If circumstances beyond our control require it, we reserve the right to amend or cancel the competition.
